Coach Nelson began training with his daughter as a way to get healthy. At the time, his daughter wanted to try Jiu Jitsu so he accompanied her so she could build her self confidence. But that quickly became a passion and through consistency in training, Nelson has demonstrated great commitment to the sport. Nelson received his black belt in 2023 and today is a coach for the Afternoon Adult Class and Kids Program. He enjoys sharing what he's learned and is a great source of encouragement to everyone at the gym.
